Dr.
Michael A. Lefkowitz
is a 1990 graduate of the New York University School of
Medicine. He completed his residency in Neurological Surgery at
the University of Southern California and he is a Diplomate of the
American Board of Neurological Surgeons. He has completed
Fellowships in Interventional Neuroradiology at the UCLA Medical Center
and Complex Spine Surgery at the University of Tennessee in
Memphis. He specializes in minimally invasive spinal surgery and
complex spine surgery. Dr. Lefkowitz has numerous publications and
presentations in the fields of Complex Spine Surgery, Interventional
Neuroradiology and General Neurosurgery. He has also served on the
teaching faculty for courses to teach minimally invasive spinal
procedures to other physicians.
Dr. Lefkowitz has clinical privileges at
North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, Long Island Jewish Medical
Center, Winthrop University Hospital, Nassau University medical Center,
Huntington Hospital, and Glen Cove Hospital.
